Our Beliefs

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven, and Earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Begotten Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried, He descended to the dead, On the third day He arose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The universal Church, The communion of the saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

THE STEWARDSHIP CREED

We the members of Saint Paul recognize that everything belongs to God. We are trusted stewards, not owners. We have been created by God and bought with a price, purchased by Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, we recognize we cannot give a tithe, but we pay our tithe
and subsequently give our offerings, pledges, and gifts. To tithe is a decision of the heart, not the head. I give today, myself my influence, and my money based upon the conviction that all I am, all I possess, all I am to become is a trust from God to be used in Kingdom Service for humankind to the Glory of God in Jesus’ Name.

CONFIRMATIONS OF FAITH:

1. I am empowered with the Holy Spirit to achieve all things through Jesus Christ.
2. I am protected by the hands of Almighty God and everywhere I place my feet God is with me.
3. I am Blessed and embrace Joy in my Spirit.
4. I am Highly Favored and Saved by God.

DISCIPLESHIP COVENANT:

Matthew 28:18-20

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All Authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

This is a means to dedicate yourself to God and stay focused on Kingdom work.

1. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life every day.
2. Commit to a daily quiet time of reading and meditation.
3. Be faithful to regular church attendance.
4. Be a good steward of the church, and over what God has given you.
5. Love and encourage all members of the church.
6. Share your faith with other people.
7. Pray daily for the church.
8. Practice biblical giving.
